Ayodhya welcomes shaligram stones from Nepal for statue construction

Ayodhya residents in India's Uttar Pradesh welcomed two rare shaligram stones arriving from Nepal for the construction of statues. The stones are typically prehistoric fossils of ammonite shells dating back from 400 to 66 million years ago. The statues made of the stones will be placed in a local Hindu temple, which is considered the birthplace of Rama. The work is expected to be completed next year. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
